Senior Frontend Engineer
You build the interface authors use to take their book from first idea to print — fast, accessible and beautiful.
Engineering Remote (EU) Full-time
All rolesWhat you’ll do
- Develop and maintain our React/Next.js interface across the entire book workflow.
- Translate complex publishing workflows into clear, performant UI.
- Ensure accessibility (WCAG 2.2) and pixel parity between editor and print PDF.
- Work closely with design and ML on features like the cover studio.
- Establish standards for testing, performance and code quality.
What you bring
- 5+ years of React/TypeScript experience in production.
- Deep understanding of performance, state management and rendering.
- An eye for design detail and clean interactions.
- Experience with accessibility and internationalization (DE/EN, RTL).
- Fluent in German or English.
Nice to have
- Experience with Canvas/WebGL or PDF rendering.
- Open-source contributions.
- Interest in publishing and typography.
