Terms governing the use of the Chaptrix platform.
01Scope and provider
These terms govern the use of the Chaptrix platform, offered by Daniel Zutavern Digital, Balanstraße 44, 81541 Munich (the “provider”). Conflicting terms of users are not recognised unless the provider expressly agrees to them.
02Formation of contract
A contract between you and the provider is formed upon registration and confirmation of a paid plan.
03Description of services
Chaptrix offers AI-assisted niche validation, manuscript generation, typesetting, cover design, citation checking, export and marketing features. The exact scope depends on the plan chosen.
04Registration and account
You must keep your credentials confidential and your details up to date. You are responsible for actions taken via your account.
05Prices and payment
The prices stated at the time of order apply. There is no permanently free plan. Billing is monthly or yearly in advance, depending on the plan.
06Term and cancellation
Contracts can be cancelled monthly or yearly, depending on the plan. Cancellation is possible via your account or by email.
07Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. For digital content this expires early if you expressly agree that we begin performance before the withdrawal period ends and you confirm your knowledge of the loss of this right.
08Rights to generated content
The content you generate (manuscripts, covers, exports) belongs to you. You are responsible for the lawfulness of its use and publication.
09User obligations
You undertake not to use the platform for unlawful content or in a way that infringes third-party rights or impairs operation.
10Availability
We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted use. Maintenance windows are announced where possible.
11Liability
The provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and under the Product Liability Act. For slight negligence, liability applies only for breach of essential contractual obligations and is limited to foreseeable, contract-typical damage.
12Warranty
Statutory warranty rights apply.
13Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms. We will notify you of material changes in good time; continued use constitutes acceptance to the extent legally permitted.
14Final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. The place of jurisdiction is, where permitted, Munich. Should any provision be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
